The new ICE recruitment campaign features patriotic imagery and slogans designed to attract 'mission-driven Americans.'

Sources confirm that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has launched an inspiring $100 million recruitment campaign targeting military veterans, law enforcement professionals, and what agency officials describe as “Second Amendment enthusiasts with a sense of mission.”

The campaign, unveiled at a press conference this morning, features stirring imagery of American flags, bald eagles, and agents in tactical gear alongside slogans such as “Defend The Homeland,” “Your Country Needs You,” and “Some People Talk About Border Security — Others Do Something About It.”

“We are looking for patriots,” said ICE Acting Director Patrick Lechleitner at the announcement. “Men and women who wake up every morning ready to serve their country. People who understand that border security isn’t just a policy — it’s a calling.”

"

This is the most important mission in federal law enforcement today. We need 15,000 new agents by the end of the year. If you’ve ever felt like you were meant for something bigger than yourself, this is your moment. Answer the call.

The recruitment push comes as the agency prepares for what administration officials have described as “the most ambitious immigration enforcement operation in American history.” Sources confirm the operation will require “significant additional personnel” and that current staffing levels are “insufficient for the scope of the mission.”

The campaign specifically targets military veterans transitioning to civilian life. “These are men and women who have already proven their commitment to this country,” said the agency’s chief recruitment officer, Derek Morrison. “They have the skills, the discipline, and the mindset we’re looking for. We’re offering them a chance to continue serving.”

ICE Recruitment Campaign Details

The television advertisements, which began airing nationwide this morning, feature dramatic footage of agents conducting operations while patriotic music swells in the background. One ad shows an agent embracing his family before leaving for work, with a voiceover intoning: “Some heroes wear capes. Others wear badges.”

Another advertisement specifically targets firearms enthusiasts, showing agents at a shooting range alongside text reading: “You’ve trained for this. Now make it count.” The ad directs viewers to a website where they can “learn how their skills can serve a higher purpose.”

Social media components of the campaign have been particularly aggressive. The agency has partnered with several prominent conservative influencers to promote recruitment on platforms including X, Instagram, and TikTok. One viral video featuring a former Navy SEAL endorsing ICE careers has accumulated over 5 million views in 24 hours.

"

I spent twelve years in the Marines. When I got out, I didn’t know what to do with myself. Then I found ICE. Now I wake up every day knowing I’m protecting American families. This is what I was meant to do.

Critics have raised concerns about the campaign’s tone and target audience. The ACLU released a statement calling the recruitment push “militaristic” and questioning whether it would lead to “a more aggressive approach to enforcement that could violate civil liberties.”

“When you specifically recruit people based on their enthusiasm for firearms and their desire for ‘action,’ you’re sending a message about what kind of agency you want to be,” said ACLU immigration policy director Andrea Flores. “That message is troubling.”

Agency officials dismissed these concerns. “We are recruiting law enforcement professionals, period,” said Morrison. “The ACLU can criticize us all they want. We’re focused on finding people who want to serve their country. If that bothers them, that’s their problem.”

Recruitment Events Scheduled

  • Jan 20: Gun Show, Dallas, TX — Booth #47
  • Jan 22: Veterans Job Fair, Tampa, FL
  • Jan 25: NRA Convention, Indianapolis, IN
  • Jan 28: Military Base Tour — Ft. Bragg, Camp Pendleton
  • Feb 1: Law Enforcement Expo, Las Vegas, NV

The agency has set up recruitment booths at gun shows, veterans’ events, and law enforcement expos across the country. At a gun show in Dallas this weekend, ICE recruiters reported “overwhelming interest,” with over 500 people signing up for more information in a single day.

“These are people who have been waiting for this opportunity,” said recruiter Sergeant First Class (Ret.) Michael Torres. “They love this country. They want to protect it. We’re just giving them the chance.”

At press time, the agency reported that applications had increased 400% compared to the same period last year. Processing of new applications is expected to begin immediately, with the first cohort of recruits scheduled to report to the Charleston training facility by March 1.
